Verified Landlord Badge on GoRentiva — how to get one (and why it matters)

The green Verified badge on your listing means more clicks, more enquiries and higher trust. Here is exactly how our KYC process works.

What the badge means

The green Verified Landlord badge on a GoRentiva listing tells prospective tenants three things:

  1. The landlord's identity has been verified (Aadhaar / PAN).
  2. The property ownership has been confirmed via a valid document.
  3. The listing has been reviewed by a human (not just algorithm).

Why it matters — real numbers

Internal data from our first 3,000 listings shows:

What you need to submit

  1. Aadhaar (front + back)
  2. PAN card
  3. Any one of: Sale Deed / Allotment Letter / GPA / Property Tax Receipt / Latest Electricity Bill in landlord's name.
  4. Selfie photo holding your Aadhaar for face-match.

Review timeline

Standard turnaround: 24-48 hours on business days. Faster if all documents are clear.

How to start

  1. Log in to your landlord dashboard.
  2. Click KYC & Verification in the sidebar.
  3. Upload the 4 documents.
  4. You'll see the green badge on all your listings once approved.

Common reasons for rejection

The badge is free. It stays with your account across listings. And it is the single biggest lever you have to increase enquiries.
